This year Humble Elementary was excited to pilot a new Martial Arts Character Development after school program. The school chose 40 students from among almost 200 third, fourth and fifth graders who wished to participate in the program. These students were taught martial arts lessons twice a week after school for eight weeks.

Corporal Saldivar generously volunteered his time and talent to train the young students. Officer Saldivar is also a black belt with over twenty years of martial arts teaching experience. Developing strong personal character is a huge part of martial arts training.
